NAK Sports League

The NAK Sports League (NSL) was created as a way to encourage inter-chapter competition and foster a sense of brotherhood among our brothers in all of our chapters. Every year, a new sport is chosen by our chapters including the location and dates to compete. NSL has provided all chapters with the opportunity to network and interact with undergraduate and alumni brothers throughout the year. The games involve participation by alumni, undergraduates, advisors and little brothers to formuate a team.

The 2009-2010 NSL season will consist of 21 teams/chapters competing in a single elimination softball tournament under Intermural Rules. The season began September 1st and concluds with the Semi-Finals and Final Games played a week before NAKFest in late April. The last season, the Northern Division Champions (Eta Chapter, Santa Clara) played aggressively against the Southern Division Champions (Beta Chapter, San Diego State Univ.) at NAKFest in San Jose in 2008, with the Eta Chapter walking away with their first NSL Trophy.

The official sport of NSL will be IM Rules FOOTBALL. Click here to download the official NSL rules for the 2009-2010 season.

Good Luck to all Chapters and Let the Brotherhood Thrive! For questions or information on NSL, send an email to nslcommissioner@nakinc.org
